TEA: Iced Matcha Tea Latte
SWEET: Canele

In my previous post, I mentioned making tea lattes as a barista at Amai. The manager from Amai, Queenie, is now at Laughing Man, a cute little coffee shop in Tribeca and she makes THE BEST lattes. I stopped by and she made me an iced matcha soy latte with steamed soy milk. Exactly the way I like it. DELICIOUS. 

I paired that with a canele they only get on Wednesdays. They usually sell out of them by Saturday. Crusty and crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, caneles are my new favorite pastry. I also like the caneles at Epicerie Boulud and Balthazar Bakery.
