How to Get Rid of Hiccups

Here’s my tip if you need to get rid of hiccups. This ALWAYS (as in 100% of the time) works for me.

Get a glass of water. While standing, lean forward and drink from the other side of the glass. Take about five slow sips and make sure you’re actually drinking the water. And done! Hiccups are gone.

  1. You know, I have another method which works for me 100% of the time. It’s worked for everyone else I’ve shared this with. Here’s what you do –
    1. Sit down, take a deep breath, really fill your lungs to the max.
    2. Hold your breath until you cannot anymore.
    3. While you’re holding your breath, lean forward a bit, and tense your chest and stomach muscles, almost as if you were trying to compress the air in your lungs.
    And voila! When you exhale, the hiccups are gone! You could try this standing too.
