- Alternative milks can also be frothed to replace the heavy cream, but the resulting cold foam will be thin and runny.
- Cold foam can be used in addition to or as a replacement for milk or cream in an iced beverage.
- Cold foam shouldn't be used in hot drinks since it'll instantly melt into the drink.
- Leftover cold foam can be left in the French press and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Just give it a few pumps before serving since it loses some of its volume.
- To simplify the recipe, you can use half & half, which consists of a 1:1 ratio of heavy cream and milk. Replace the heavy cream and milk with ⅓ cup half & half.
- Use this cold foam to top iced drinks, such as a butterfly pea flower bubble tea or iced butterfly pea flower latte.
