Matcha Milk

A sweet and creamy matcha drink with vanilla extract, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt.

  • Pour water and matcha into an airtight container.
    Use filtered water if possible. A small water bottle with a wide opening or a cocktail shaker work great.
    Add water in first to prevent matcha from clumping.
  • Close lid and shake for 10 seconds.
    Shake it vigorously to make sure the water and matcha get mixed well.
  • Add maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Close lid and shake for 5 seconds.
  • Pour milk into a bottle then the sweetened matcha.


The better the quality of matcha, the brighter the green it will be. More expensive matcha is practically neon green, and cheaper matcha is a dull, brownish green.
