- Instead of loose mint tea, you can use peppermint tea bags. Make sure the tea bags only contain peppermint. Replace the 3 tablespoons of loose tea with 4 peppermint tea bags or 2 tea sachets.
- The longer the mint tea steeps in the saucepan with the sugar and water, the stronger the mint taste will be.
- Use a strainer and a funnel to easily strain the mint leaves.
- To sweeten and flavor your drink, add 1-2 tablespoons of mint syrup into a cup of coffee or tea.
