  • Heat milk.
    Milk can be heated on the stovetop or in an electric milk frother.
  • Place matcha powder in a mug.
  • Pour in heated milk.
    Stir to dissolve matcha into milk.

Notes

  • Only 2 ingredients are needed to make this copycat beverage. The combination of sweetened matcha with milk gives you the same flavor as the Dunkin’ matcha latte. Since the matcha powder contains sugar, you don’t need to add a separate sweetener.
  • You can use any milk you like. Use a plant-based milk such as oat or almond to make this a dairy-free matcha latte.
  • When warming milk on the stovetop, make sure to do so over low heat. Once it reaches a simmer, turn off the heat right away so the milk doesn’t boil and burn.
  • You can also microwave the milk. Place the milk in a microwave-safe cup and heat it at 30-seconds, then 15-second intervals until warm.
  • For an extra decadent drink, top with whipped cream.
