- Tea sachets are recommended since they’re better quality than tea bags and are also easy to discard after steeping. You can also use loose peppermint tea leaves (1 tablespoon) if that's what you have.
- Try adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to make your mint iced tea taste brighter and more flavorful.
- To help the tea cool down quickly, avoid using boiling hot water and use slow boiled water instead.
- Since peppermint tea is an herbal infusion, it can be steeped for longer without getting too bitter and astringent. The longer you steep the peppermint tea, the stronger the flavor.
- This mint iced tea can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Make sure to remove the tea bags, tea sachets, or loose tea before refrigerating.
