- If you want a stronger chai flavor, add another tea bag into the hot water to steep. For a milder flavor, use only 2 tea bags.
- Always put liquids into the blender first. The heaviest ingredient should go in last, which in this recipe is the ice cream.
- Let the ice cream soften first to make it easier to scoop.
- Add extra ice cream if you want a thicker milkshake.
- To make the milkshake thinner, add a small amount of extra milk then blend for 10 seconds.
- Garnish with ground cinnamon or whipped cream to make it extra rich.
- Chai is black tea with spices, and each company that makes it, has their own blend. This means no 2 chai blends will taste exactly the same so you may need to try a few to figure out which company makes the blend you like the best.
