Mango Iced Tea

- ¼ cup hot water
- 2 tea bags black tea
- ¾ cup mango juice
- 1 cup ice
Put black tea bags and hot water into a teapot.Boil water on the stovetop or use an electric kettle with a temperature setting. Set water temperature to 195°F. ¼ cup hot water, 2 tea bags black tea
Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags.Steeping for longer will make the tea bitter. Pour mango juice into the teapot.

Pour iced tea into a cup with ice.

- Choose a 100% mango juice that doesn’t contain any additional sugars or sweeteners.
- If black tea is steeped for too long or with the wrong water temperature, it'll become bitter and astringent.
- For the easiest cleanup, opt for tea bags or tea sachets. You can use loose tea but you'll need to strain out the tea leaves before mixing it with juice. Use 1 tablespoon of loose tea instead of the 2 tea bags in the recipe.
- The iced tea can be prepared in advanced and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. It's best to mix the mango juice and iced tea when you're ready to drink.
