Add cooled down mint tea.Optional: Garnish with thinly sliced lemon.
- Tea bags make cleanup easy, but you can also use sachets or loose tea.
- Tea should be steeped at a specific time and temperature for the best flavor, but herbal tisanes like mint won’t get bitter if they’re left in hot water for longer. The flavor of the tea will just get stronger.
- The mint tea can be steeped in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 4 days. Mix with the lemonade when ready to serve.
- Add a black or green tea bag in the teapot with the mint tea to make it a caffeinated drink.
- For a pretty finishing touch, line cups with thinly sliced lemons before adding the ice.
