- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons 2% milk
- 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
- 2 pinches sea salt
Put heavy cream, milk, caramel sauce, and salt into a French press. Stir to combine.Stir to make sure the caramel mixes well with the cream and milk. Place the lid and move the plunger up and down 40 times. The cold foam will increase in volume. Pour cold foam on top of an iced drink.Serve immediately.
- If you want cold foam with less calories or to make things easier, replace the heavy cream and milk with ⅓ cup of half & half. Half & half is half cream and half milk.
- Cold foam will increase in size so don’t overfill the French press.
- Don’t underfill the French press either, or it won't froth properly. Make sure the French press filter is touching the liquids before moving the plunger.
- No French press? Just shake ingredients for a few minutes in a large jar with a tight lid. The more you shake, the more froth you’ll create.
- Cold foam can be stored in the fridge for 2 days.
