Ingredients

  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons 2% milk
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • 2 pinches sea salt

Instructions

  • Put heavy cream, milk, caramel sauce, and salt into a French press. Stir to combine.
Stir to make sure the caramel mixes well with the cream and milk.
  • Place the lid and move the plunger up and down 40 times.
The cold foam will increase in volume.
  • Pour cold foam on top of an iced drink.
    Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you want cold foam with less calories or to make things easier, replace the heavy cream and milk with ⅓ cup of half & half. Half & half is half cream and half milk.
  • Cold foam will increase in size so don’t overfill the French press.
  • Don’t underfill the French press either, or it won't froth properly. Make sure the French press filter is touching the liquids before moving the plunger.
  • No French press? Just shake ingredients for a few minutes in a large jar with a tight lid. The more you shake, the more froth you’ll create.
  • Cold foam can be stored in the fridge for 2 days.
