Ingredients

Instructions

  • Put tea bag and hot water into a teapot.
Simmer water on the stovetop or use an electric kettle. Set the water temperature to 190°F when using the electric kettle.
1 Tazo Passion tea bag, ½ cup hot water
  • Cover and steep for 5 minutes.
  • Put ice and hot tea into a cocktail shaker. Shake 10 times.
Put ice in first, then the hot tea.
    1 ½ cup ice
  • Pour drink into a cup.
Top with more ice if needed.

Notes

  • Starbucks doesn't sweeten their Iced Passion Tango Tea, but if you want to add a little sweetener, use a simple syrup. It'll mix in easily into an iced drink.
  • The more vigorously you shake the iced tea, the more foam you'll see on the surface. If you like a lot of foam, shake it about 40 times.
