- 2 jasmine tea sachets (or 1 tablespoon loose tea)
- ½ cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 cup ice
- Tea sachets and tea bags are easier to clean up, but you can also use loose tea.
- Use the correct temperature setting for jasmine tea. Each variety of tea requires a specific brewing temperature.
- Don’t oversteep the tea. Both black and green teas get bitter and astringent if steeped for too long. This tea should only be brewed for 4 minutes.
- Make the tea ahead of time. Jasmine iced tea can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- Leave out the sugar to make an unsweetened jasmine iced tea.
- Place sliced lemons, berries, or fresh herbs for a pretty presentation.
