- Fresh, canned, or bottled pineapple juice can be used, but make sure to use one where there is minimal to no added sugar. Look for 100% pineapple juice.
- If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, any jar with a tight-fitting lid will work as long as it’s big enough to hold the matcha and pineapple juice.
- This recipe uses a sweetened matcha powder, but you can swap it out with regular unsweetened matcha if you prefer less sweetness. For recipes like this where matcha is mixed with other ingredients aside from water, look to spend between $20-$35 per tin.
- If using unsweetened matcha, use 2 teaspoons of matcha and 2 tablespoons of simple syrup.
- To make your drink frothier, shake the drink in the cocktail shaker 30 times.
