- 1 ¾ cups oat milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- To froth milk using a French press, heat all ingredients on the stovetop in a saucepan. Make sure not to boil the milk. Pour heated drink into the French press and close the lid. Pump 20 times, or until the golden milk doubles in volume. Make sure to only fill the French press halfway to leave room for the froth.
- To keep this drink healthy, pick an unsweetened oat milk. You can use other milks, including cow's milk. Keep in mind that some milks, such as almond milk, won't froth as much as oat milk.
- Instead of maple syrup, you can use honey or date syrup.
- For the most potent flavor, only use fresh spices. If your spices are old or expired, the flavor won't be as good.
- Turmeric can stain easily so clean the saucepan or milk frother immediately after use.
