- Barley and roasted corn don't contain caffeine and won't get bitter even after cold brewing for hours. The flavor will intensify though and the tea will be darker in color. You can cold brew anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours.
- Don't leave tea bags in water for more than 24 hours. Remove the tea bags from the liquid since leaving solids in cold brew tea can accelerate bacterial growth.
- The cold brewed tea can be stored in the refrigerator, in an airtight container for 3 more days.
- Better water means better tasting tea so I always use filtered water to make drinks.
