A refreshing and roasty cold brew tea that combines barley and roasted corn tea in one delicious drink.

Barley Tea and Roasted Corn Tea
If you love roasted tea like I do, you’ll love this combination. I drank more of this tea than water growing up.
This cold brew tea is a quicker and easier version of the tea I make all the time in the summer. I get barley tea bags and roasted corn tea bags then put one of each into a glass container and place it in the refrigerator. It takes as little as an hour to bring out the flavors but I usually leave it in there overnight.
Note from Jee

The barley and roasted corn in the tea bags quickly cold brew since they contain crushed whole barley and roasted corn kernels.
I tried taking out the contents of both bags and put them directly into the glass container, but there were so many tiny bits that even filtering the tea three times wasn’t enough.
So, just be aware that you’ll get a lot more sediment from taking the barley and roasted corn if you take them out of the tea bags.
Recipe Notes
The longer you cold brew, the stronger the flavor.
Barley and roasted corn don’t contain caffeine and won’t get bitter even after cold brewing for hours. The flavor will intensify though and the tea will be darker in color. You can cold brew anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours.
Don’t leave tea bags in water for more than 24 hours.
Remove the tea bags from the liquid since leaving solids in cold brew tea can accelerate bacterial growth. The cold brewed tea can be stored in the refrigerator, in an airtight container for 3 more days.
Use filtered water.
Better water means better tasting tea so I always use filtered water to make drinks.
