Cold Brew Hibiscus Tea Concentrate
- 4 tablespoons hibiscus tea (or 6 tea bags or sachets)
- 4 cups water cold or room temperature
Hibiscus Limeade
- 3 ice cubes
- 2 lime slices
- ⅓ cup cold brew hibiscus tea concentrate
- ½ cup limeade
Make the cold brew hibiscus tea concentrate first. Combine hibiscus tea with cold or room temperature water in a glass container.
Cover and refrigerator for 12-24 hours.
Use a strainer to remove all solids. The hibiscus tea solids should not be left in the drink for more than 24 hours. Assemble the drink by putting ice cubes and thinly sliced lime into a cup. Pour in the hibiscus tea concentrate and top with limeade.
- If you like a sweeter drink, add more limeade than the tea concentrate.
- This recipe works great with regular limeade or sparkling limeade.
