Ingredients

Instructions

  • Pour the protein shake over ice.
Fill a cup with ice. Add the protein shake to the cup.
1 bottle chocolate protein shake, 1 cup ice
  • Add espresso.
Pour the espresso into the cup. Top off with ice if needed. Drink immediately.
    2 shots espresso

Notes

  • If you don’t have a way to make espresso, use instant coffee. You’ll need ¼ cup of water and 1 tablespoon of instant coffee to replace the 2 shots of espresso.
  • A homemade protein shake can be used instead of a bottled version. To make it, combine 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder with 1 ½ cups (about 12 ounces) of milk in a blender or shaker bottle.
  • Bring in your own bottled chocolate protein shake to Starbucks and order 2 espresso shots with ice in a venti cup. Once you get the cup, you can add the chocolate protein shake.
