Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons oolong tea (or 3 tea bags/sachets)
  • 1 peach sliced
  • 2 slices lime
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 3 cups water cold or room temperature

Instructions

  • In a pitcher, combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.
Stir to make sure the tea leaves touch the water.
  • Use a strainer to remove all solids.
The tea, fruits, and rosemary should not be left in the drink more than 24 hours.
  • Serve with or without ice.
The tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • A little lime goes a long way. If you want to make sure the cold brew is not at all bitter, take the rind off the lime slice.
  • Thoroughly wash all fruit to remove dirt and bacteria. To clean the lime, rinse it under cold running water and rub it with your hands. Don’t use dish soap.
  • I always use filtered water to make tea since better water means a better tasting tea.
  • Make sure you take it out all solids after 24 hours. Leaving any solids in the cold brew tea can accelerate bacterial growth.
