Ingredients

Instructions

  • Put green tea sachets and ¼ cup of hot water into a teapot.
Boil water on the stovetop or use an electric kettle with a temperature setting. Set water temperature to 175°F.
  • Cover and steep for 3 minutes. Discard tea bags.
Steeping for longer will make the tea bitter.
  • Pour ¾ cup pineapple juice into the teapot.
Stir the mixture until thoroughly combined.
  • Pour iced tea into cup with ice.

Notes

  • Don’t oversteep the green tea. Leaving the sachets in the teapot for more too long will make the tea bitter.
  • Use tea bags or sachets for easy clean up.
  • If using loose green tea leaves, strain before mixing with the juice.
  • Pineapple iced tea can be made in advance and stored in fridge for up to 3 days.
