Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  • Combine cold water, lemon juice, and pineapple juice.
    Use filtered water if possible.
¼ cup cold water, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, ⅔ cup pineapple juice
  • Pour the pineapple lemonade in a cup with ice.
Optional: Garnish the glass with lemon slices.
    1 cup ice

Notes

  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice tastes better than the bottled kind. A citrus juicer will make it quick and easy to squeeze fresh lemons.
  • Use ripe lemons for this drink. You can tell a lemon is ripe and juicy if it feel heavy for its size. Avoid lemons that are mushy, soft, or discolored.
  • If you want a sweeter lemonade, add 1 teaspoon of simple syrup. Taste and add more if needed.
  • Make the lemonade in advance and store it in the fridge, without ice, for up to 3 days. Add ice just before serving.
