- ¼ cup cold water
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- ⅔ cup pineapple juice
- 1 cup ice
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice tastes better than the bottled kind. A citrus juicer will make it quick and easy to squeeze fresh lemons.
- Use ripe lemons for this drink. You can tell a lemon is ripe and juicy if it feel heavy for its size. Avoid lemons that are mushy, soft, or discolored.
- If you want a sweeter lemonade, add 1 teaspoon of simple syrup. Taste and add more if needed.
- Make the lemonade in advance and store it in the fridge, without ice, for up to 3 days. Add ice just before serving.
