Watermelon Orange Basil Cold Brew Oolong Tea

This cold brew tea is a little sweet, a little earthy, and completely delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons oolong tea (or 3 tea bags)
  • 1 ½ cups watermelon chopped
  • ½ mandarin orange peeled and chopped
  • 3 basil leaves torn
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 cups water cold or room temperature

Instructions

  • Put tea, watermelon, orange, and basil into a glass container. Mash with a muddler.
  • Add honey and water.
    Stir or shake to make sure all the ingredients are touching the water.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours.
  • Use a strainer to remove all solids.
    The solids should not be left in the liquid more than 24 hours.
  • Serve with or without ice.
    This cold brew tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 more days.
