Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso

The Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso is a Starbucks drink made with Blonde espresso, chocolate malt powder, and ice that are shaken together in a cocktail shaker then topped with almond milk.

The drink is shaken to create a foamy texture and to quickly chill the drink.

A grande latte at Starbucks has 2 shots of espresso but the grande Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso has 3 espresso shots, making it a more caffeinated drink.

Blonde espresso is a lightly roasted coffee that’s smoother and less intense than the Starbucks signature espresso. Blonde espresso contains more caffeine.

Nespresso Notes

Nespresso machines are the easiest way to make espresso at home. The Nespresso Vertuo Plus is a good, affordable machine that makes both espresso and brewed cups of coffee.

1 shot of espresso = 1 Nespresso espresso capsule

Grande Iced shaken espressos are made with 3 shots of blonde espresso so you’ll need 3 Nespresso espresso capsules. To make it taste more like Starbucks, use the Nespresso Starbucks Blonde Espresso capsules.

Make sure not to use the 7.77 ounce coffee capsules, which don’t make espresso, but instead, a full cup of coffee.
