White Chocolate Frappuccino

White Chocolate Frappuccino (also called White Chocolate Crème Frappuccino) is a Starbucks frozen drink made in a blender. It’s made with ice, milk, creme Frappuccino syrup, white chocolate mocha sauce, and topped with vanilla flavored whipped cream.

There’s no coffee or caffeine in this drink, like the Strawberry Frappuccino and the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino.

Every Starbucks Frappuccino is made with a Frappuccino base syrup that turns an icy drink into a smooth, creamy one. This recipe uses a homemade Frappuccino base syrup that can easily be made in your kitchen.

Recipe Highlights

  • This Starbucks copycat recipe recreates the Starbucks White Chocolate Crème Frappuccino using 6 ingredients, including the homemade Frappuccino base syrup.
  • There’s no caffeine in this drink so it’s a good option for kids and anyone sensitive to caffeine.
  • The recipe makes a grande size (16 ounces) drink.

Ingredient Notes

Starbucks White Chocolate Frappuccino copycat recipe ingredients.
  • Homemade Frappuccino base syrup: To recreate Starbucks Frappuccinos, this base syrup is a must. It’s made with xanthan gum, a thickener. Make a batch of this first.
  • White chocolate sauce: This is to sweeten and flavor the drink. You can use sweetened condensed milk with very similar results.
  • Milk: Starbucks uses whole milk for Frappuccinos, but you can use any milk you like. Whole milk will make your frozen drink creamier though.
  • Heavy cream: This is to make the whipped cream topping.
  • Vanilla syrup: To flavor and sweeten the whipped cream, vanilla syrup is used instead of sugar. Starbucks uses vanilla syrup in their whipped cream.
  • Ice: If possible, make ice using filtered water.

Expert Tips

  • Don’t add ice into the blender first since you won’t get an efficient blend. Add ingredients into the blender in the order it’s listed on the recipe.
  • You don’t have to use the homemade Frappuccino base syrup to make this drink, but not including it will make your drink icy and not creamy. Replace the Frappuccino base syrup with the same amount of simple syrup to sweeten.
  • The drink is made with vanilla whipped cream but if you want to make white chocolate whipped cream, just replace the vanilla syrup with white chocolate sauce in the recipe.
