Espresso, white chocolate sauce, and milk are shaken with ice to make this delicious Iced White Chocolate Mocha, just like the one at Starbucks. See how quick and easy it is to make, including the fluffy whipped cream!

Iced White Mocha
Starbucks Iced White Mocha (shortened from Iced White Chocolate Mocha) is an iced latte made with espresso, white chocolate sauce, milk, and ice. It’s topped off with whipped cream.
Note from Jee

To make all my Starbucks copycat drinks, I take their exact recipe and test it at home until it tastes as close to theirs as possible.
I always try to use ingredients that are the same or similar to what they use. One of those is the vanilla syrup. You can go to a Starbucks location and ask to buy their vanilla syrups at the register. The catch is that not every Starbucks location will sell it to you. They’ll only sell it if they have any extra in stock. If they do sell it to you, it’ll cost around $25 for the bottle.
Recipe Summary
- This copycat recreates the Starbucks drink following their recipe and it requires espresso so you’ll need an espresso machine or a Nespresso.
- The drink is topped with homemade whipped cream which is made in seconds using my trick of whisking heavy cream with a handheld milk frother.
- This recipe makes a grande (16 ounce) Iced White Chocolate Mocha.

Ingredient Notes

- Espresso: Starbucks sells their own branded capsules for Nespresso machines which will give you a flavor close to theirs but you can use any espresso capsule you like.
- White chocolate sauce: This sweetens and flavors the drink. If you don’t have white chocolate sauce, you can use sweetened condensed milk instead.
- Milk: You can use any milk you like but Starbucks uses 2% milk.
- Heavy cream: This is to make the whipped cream.
- Vanilla syrup: Use homemade vanilla syrup or store-bought. This is used to flavor the whipped cream.
- Ice: Use filtered water to make ice if possible.

Step 3: Pour drink from cocktail shaker into a cup. Add ice.

Expert Tips
- Instant coffee can be used if you don’t have espresso although it won’t taste the same. Combine 1 tablespoon of instant coffee and ¼ cup hot water to replace the 2 shots of espresso in the recipe.
- If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, use a jar with a tight lid.
- In this grande sized drink, there are 2 shots of espresso, which means you’ll need 2 Nespresso espresso capsules.
- The whipped cream is flavored with vanilla but if you don’t have vanilla syrup, you can use 2 teaspoons of sugar.
