Note from Jee

Coffee, Coke, and ice cream together in one drink? YES. It’s delicious!
I took a classic Coke float and made it even better by adding cold brew coffee. After testing and tasting the recipe, I found that the trick is to get the right balance of coffee and Coke.
Try it and see if you love it as much as I do!

Ingredient Notes

- Cold brew coffee: Use store-bought or homemade cold brew coffee.
- Coke: I especially love Mexican Coke in glass bottles since it’s made with real cane sugar instead of corn syrup.
- Vanilla ice cream: You can use ice cream or gelato.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Chill glass cup by placing it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.

Step 2: Scoop ice cream into cup.

Step 3: Add cold brew coffee.

Step 4: Slowly pour in Coke. Serve with a straw and the rest of the Coke bottle so the cup can be refilled as the ice cream melts and the foam settles.
Expert Tips
- Serve in an ice cold cup by putting the cup into the freezer for 5-10 minutes if you want the drink to be extra nice and cold without adding ice. Skip it if you just want to make the drink right away.
- To use instant coffee instead of cold brew coffee, replace it with 2 teaspoons of instant coffee with ¼ cup of water.
- To use hot brewed coffee from a coffee machine, brew a double-strength cup of coffee then cool it down in the refrigerator.
