A fruity and refreshing iced tea with the flavors of chamomile and peach. This tasty recipe is not too sweet and so easy to make.

Homemade Chamomile Peach Iced Tea
I like chamomile tea on its own, but I wanted to combine it with peach so it would be a little sweet and a little fruity. It’s a delicious and refreshing combination.
Note from Jee

I first made this recipe back in 2013 but updated it so it’s now made with peach juice instead of a fresh peach. I made the change so that the drink would be easier to make (the old recipe required creating a peach puree) and in less time.
Just like the old recipe, you can really taste the chamomile and peach, without one flavor not overpowering the other. Hope you like it!
Recipe Summary

Ingredient Notes

- Chamomile tea: I’m using loose chamomile tea, but you can use tea sachets or tea bags.
- Peach juice: Any peach juice can be used. I used Simply Peach. Look for peach juices with minimal ingredients and avoid getting peach punch drinks, which are loaded with sugar.
- Water: I recommend using filtered water for all iced teas.
- Ice: Use filtered water to make ice, if possible.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Make chamomile tea concentrate. Put chamomile tea and hot water into a teapot. Boil water on the stovetop or use an electric kettle with a temperature setting.

Step 2: Cover and steep. Strain out the chamomile solids.

Step 1: Pour peach juice into the teapot.

Step 2: Pour chamomile peach iced tea into a cup with ice.
Expert Tips
- To quickly cool down the tea, put hot tea, peach juice, and ice into a cocktail shaker and shake 10 times. Pour everything in the cocktail shaker into a cup. Add ice into the cup if needed.
- Peach nectar can be used instead of peach juice, but it’ll be a bit thicker and sweeter.
- Little water is used to make the chamomile tea so that it would be a tea concentrate. This makes it quicker to cool down without sacrificing flavor.

Hi Georgia, I think peaches should be around till mid or late September. Hope you find perfectly ripe ones at the Greenmarket!
So much easier than canning. Hope there are still peaches the next time I make it to the green market.
