Juicy and sweet apple slices are cold brewed with Earl Grey tea and mint to create a refreshing and delicious drink.

Apple Cold Brew Tea
To make this cold brew tea, I used Earl Grey, which is a black tea that’s flavored with bergamot, a citrus fruit. The apple I used is Fuji, which I find out to be sweeter than other apples. Mint adds a layer of freshness.
It’s so easy to cold brew tea but it’s not too quick of a process. It needs to sit for 12-24 hours in the refrigerator and I usually cold brew it for the entire 24 hours since it gives it more time for the flavors to really come together.
By the way, if you love Earl Grey tea, try cold brewing just Earl Grey tea in water and you’ll be amazed at how crisp and tasty it is.
My Fruit-Infused Cold Brew Tea Formula
Here is my cold brew tea formula:
Tea + 1 Fruit + 1 Citrus + 1 Herb
To make this cold brew, I used Earl Grey tea as my tea, apple as my fruit, and mint as my herb. I didn’t add a citrus since there’s bergamot flavor in the Earl Grey tea.
Recipe Notes
Use loose tea, tea sachets, or tea bags.
I used loose tea but you can use whatever kind of Earl Grey tea you have.
Wash the apple and mint.
Thoroughly wash to remove dirt and bacteria. Rinse under cold running water and rub with your hands. Don’t use dish soap.
Strain out solids after 24 hours.
Make sure you take it out all solids after 24 hours. Leaving any solids in the cold brew tea can accelerate bacterial growth.
Drink within 3 days.
Fruit-infused cold brew is best when consumed in 3 days after straining the solids since there is increased risk of bacterial growth. From the day you put the cold brew tea and fruit into the refrigerator to the day you have your last sip, it should be 4 days total.
Use filtered water.
I always use filtered water to make tea since better water means a better tasting tea.
Glass Containers

This cold brew tea recipe was made to fit perfectly inside this glass container.
You’ll need 2 containers of the same size with one for cold brewing, and another one to strain the drink into.
